Every great act of generosity begins with a simple idea. Our organization believes that the most valuable contribution you can make isn't money—it's your time and your creativity. We are a group of volunteers dedicated to creating high-impact, low-cost initiatives that directly benefit our community. Instead of just asking for donations, we seek out people who are ready to roll up their sleeves and put their ideas into action. Join us in making a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.
I proudly volunteer with Tarrant County Commissioner Alisa Simmons’ Chronic Kidney Disease Awareness Initiative, supporting the annual Kidney Wellness & Health Expo in Arlington. Working alongside county staff, healthcare partners, and fellow volunteers, I contribute to an event that provides free and low‑cost screenings—including kidney function tests, mammograms, vaccines, and blood pressure checks—to communities that are often underserved. My work focuses on helping streamline operations, improving the participant experience, and supporting outreach efforts that connect high‑risk populations with preventive care.
I assisted with evaluating workflow, identifying opportunities for clearer communication, and suggesting low‑cost improvements in registration, signage, and volunteer coordination. I also support demographic‑driven outreach strategies to help the county better reach Hispanic and minority communities disproportionately affected by chronic kidney disease. I remain committed to contributing my skills and time to future community health initiatives that advance equity and access.
